The quickest and easiest way to stay grounded and centered is through your breathe. You can do this exercise sitting, lying down or standing up. Focus your attention to 32 inches below the earth and with a nice, comfortable inhale think of the breathe coming up from the earth into your feet, up your legs, through your torso, up through the neck, head and up to 32 inches above your head. Now, with a nice steady exhale let the breathe come down through your head, neck, and out your shoulders, arms and hands. Repeat this breathing pattern, making each inhale and exhale as long as is comfortable. Anywhere from 4 to 6 seconds on each inhale and exhale is adequate.
If you are new to breathing exercises this may feel a little uneven at first, but you will quickly get the hang of it and will soon find this exercise to be a calming and relaxing experience.

After being in a serious car accident, my chiroprater referred me to Marcy White, being in such pain unable to handle the touch of the hand, Marcy introduced me to Quantam Touch, in one session I could feel relief of the serious pain I was in, I have been having treatments once a week for 7 months now. I would not trade my session with Marcy for anything else, this time I have once a week gives me the opportunity to know myself better and enjoy the peace I receive from each treatment. This is an awesome place and Marcy is the coolest chick you will ever meet. I highly recommend the Healing Place!
Good morning dear friend,
Tried this sitting, standing & laying down all of which helped my concentration & comprehension. Standing seemed to work best for me. Although, the first few times I was a little off balance but that seems to have stopped now.
That’s great, Nancy. The feeling of being off balance is probably due to the sudden intake of oxygen if you haven’t been used to doing any breathing.
